Ph.D. student
Oľga Parmar is a Ph.D. student at the Department Biophysics, SAS, under the supervision of Zuzana Gažová and Andrea Antošová since September 2021. The main goal of her research is to study the influence of different interaction partners on the amyloid aggregation of proteins using different biophysical techniques (spectral methods, AFM, CD, FTIR) and in vitro cytotoxicity assays. Oľga Parmar is skilled in biophysical techniques and molecular biology methods such as PCR, FPLC, DLS, FTIR, CD, and AFM. She participated in the workshop The Instruct-Eric held at the Czech Academy of Sciences, Brno, Czech Republic, and in Student Science Conference, 2021.
