Jozef Marek received his Ph.D. in Biophysics at the Department of Biophysics, Comenius University in Bratislava, in 2000. His main scientific work focuses on mathematical modelling, programming and image analysis. Currently, he is engaged in the design and study of theoretical models of topographic surfaces of fibrils using statistical and image methods, as well as the modelling of growth curves of fibrils from experiments and the development of simulation programs.
