Ph.D. student
Barbora Borovská is a Ph.D. student at Department of Biophysics, SAS under the supervision of Zuzana Gažová and Zuzana Bednáriková since 2019. Her main scientific focus is on understanding the mechanism of amyloid aggregation of globular and IDP intrinsically disordered proteins and identifying the principal characteristics of the small organic molecules with anti-amyloid potential. Her project presentations were awarded during national and international conferences (EBSA 2021, Meeting of Ph.D. students dedicated to the memory of academician Boďa, Košice, 2020). She also received grants to participate in winter school (Disordered in Disorder, Brixen, Italy, in 2020); and at the 66th Annual Biophysical Meeting in San Francisco, USA, in 2022.
